Tuesday are special to me. Every Tuesday evening my girls and I go and have pizza on the buffet at Main Street Pizza in Lockney. (YES! We have something besides a Dairy Queen!) Our Tuesday night routine has become somewhat of a tradition for us. After pizza we do a variety of things. Lately, we have gone over to Plainview for hot chocolate and desert at the Broadway Brew. Now that basketball has started, we may try to get up to the gym and catch a few games.
Tuesdays are special to me because the time I get to spend with my girls. It is especially good after the weekends I don't have them. It gives me that "dad" rush.
I can't wait for tonight!!!

- What can I say! Life's little curve balls sure sends us to some interresting places. I am a faithful Christian man and the father of 3 children. 2 Girls, Sarah is 13 and about to go to the 8th grade! (boo hoo) Lizzie is 10 and she is going to the 6th grade. My 26 year old son Jonathan and his wife Kirsten live in the Frisco, Plano, Dallas area. I am just a country boy so all that blends in to me. That boy and his wife inspire me to be good!They are precious. I live in Lockney, in case you didn't already know that. I started life here until the tragic death of my father in 1971. Mom remarried in 1974 and we moved to Quanah. I graduated high school there in Quanah. Turned over a whole bunch of rocks and boulders in that area. I fell completely, head over heals in love with Jesus Christ in January 2007. I don't really know what else to say about that. This walk is just like any other relationship. There are ups and downs. You have to work on it daily. (Or I do any way!)

Bravo, my man. As a father of 2 girls, 3 and 1, I appreciate the inspiration. I stumbled across your blog while researching for a family trip in February. We are coming in from Seattle, Boston, and Austin to sprinkle our Mother's ashes at her family farm in Dougherty. Enjoyed your post. Have fun on Tuesday's. I believe I'll start doing the same with my girls.
